Apogee AP series slow-scan CCD cameras

THE AP SERIES ARE DISCONTINUED
OEM production of these systems will be considerd upon request.

Description:
The AP Series CCD imaging systems from Apogee Instruments represent high performance technology and were designed for a wider range of larger CCD sensors up to 4096 x 4096 pixels for demanding scientific research applications, such as Life Sciences, Astronomy, OEM Applications etc.

Because of the compact camera head design the AP systems are adaptable to embedded applications were space is limited. The standard PCI controller (with 25' cable) provides the support to the camera head. All AP cameras use long-life shutters, BBAR coated fused silica windows and a 2-stage Thermoelectric cooler with forced-air (optionally with liquid-recirculation cold plate). The liquid-recirculation was designed to work with liquid re-circulation chiller units such as Neslab's CFT 25 or the Melcor MLA270.

AP series imaging systems use Kodak and Atmel full frame CCD sensors and include Vincent and Melles Griot shutters, except for the AP47p camera which comes with a Marconi back-illuminated CCD.
