This newsletter informs you about the newest developments for LIFA-Lambert Instruments Fluorescence Attachment system for FLIM-Fluorescence Liftetime Imaging Microscopy.
The LI FLIM software has improved and has new features:
Acquisition
- Time series. Time series of lifetime images can be recorded at high speed and allows Real Time lifetime imaging at a speed of 12 lifetime images per second. At this speed all raw image data are saved for further analysis. Time series can also be recorded with longer periods (e.g. 5 minutes) in between the lifetime images; this allows the application of longer exposure times needed for weak samples.
- Multi frequency measurements. This is the newest addition to our LI FLIM software program. It enables the analysis of multiple lifetime components per pixel or ROI in the image.
Analysis
- Profile plot: to observe the lifetime values per line (x or y) of the image.
- Fit-on-point: to check the reliability of the acquisition per pixel.
- Statistics: to analyse the lifetime image per ROI in values and histograms.
- Polar plot: to analyse the phase and modulation data of all pixels in one curve.
- Freeform ROI can be drawn and is moveable through the images; also the ROI can be drwan after the acquisition of a lifetime image or a time series to observe the data everywhere in the field of view.
- Merge of the lifetime image and intensity image to get better and easier insight in the data of your image.
