Lambert Instruments

This Advanced Light Microscopy Symposium is an initiative from the Centre for Nano- and Biophotonics, which was recently established at Ghent University and unites across faculties expertise in the field of photonics, nanomaterials, imaging and biology.
The symposium gathers international as well as national experts in the field of advanced light microscopy.

MiFoBio is the meeting about "Microscopie Fonctionnelle en Biologie". During the meeting the lectures include several modules like photochemistry, fluorescent proteins, biophotonic instrumentation, dynamics and molecular interactions of cells and tissues, etc etc. The official language during the whole meeting will be French. 
Additional to the lectures many 'Ateliers' can be followed to get demonstrations of different systems, among which our wide field FLIM system (LIFA).

A two-day Symposium with Lectures from world-experts followed by hands-on training on Advanced Light Microscopy techniques for registered participants. Topics will include novel microscopy approaches such as Light-Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy, advanced functional imaging techniques such as FRAP, FLIP, FRET and localized DNA damage, and their applications to biomedical sciences.
