9th Annual workshop on FRET microscopy - Virginia, USA
| An advanced course on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) microscopy, organised by A. Periasamy of the W.M. Keck Center for Cellular Imaging. The workshop will be an intensive lecture/ laboratory series that will enable participants to develop theoretical and hands-on expertise with various FRET microscopy techniques, including FLIM. Lambert Instruments will provide the LIFA system for the instruction on FRET detection by widefield FLIM in the frequency domain. The conference aims to promote biological imaging as a fundamental tool for basic and applied research in the life science field. It will assist scientists working in the field of life science to fully exploit the power of biological imaging by improving the transfer of knowledge. It will promote awareness of the potentials of modern imaging techniques for biotechnology with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical applications. | Microscience 2010 will be home to Europe's largest exhibition showing the latest equipment in microscopy and imaging. It will run alongside a themed International Conference.
